re::for white folks

I've been away from this space for a long time. Overwhelmed by the madness maybe. Here are some places I have found enlightenment, challenge and reassurance around this nation's ongoing struggles with race relations.

-A conversation between Ta-Nehisi Coates and Krista Tippet via On Being. "Imagining a New America".

-A TED Talk with Chimamanda Adichie, The Danger of a Single Story. Sent to me by my daughter Hannah (my four grown kids are educators all and they keep me on my toes).

-GQ's Citizen of the Year cover story about Colin Kaepernick, found here.

-Montpelier High School's decision to fly a Black Lives Matter flag during the month of February, via VT Public Radio.

-What White Children Need to Know About Race, via the NAIS website. (Another share via my daughter Hannah).
